Harassment can be an isolated incident or remark, or a series of events which together create a degrading environment. Either way this is not something which you can be expected to put up with.
If you feel you are being harassed you may well have a claim in law. The time limits for lodging a claim in the Employment Tribunal are strict and any claim has to be lodged within 3 months of the last act of harassment.
